Notes on Chemicals

  • Somatropin or Somatrophen – HGH
  • Stanozolol – synthetic anabolic steroid derived from dihydrotestosterone
  • Megace –
    • the act of performing good magic, sleight-of-hand, and illusion art of misdirection
  • “Arenis” – arena
    • Arene – a hydrocarbon with alternating double and single bonds between carbon atoms forming rings. The term ‘aromatic’ was assigned before the physical mechanism determining aromaticity was discovered, and was derived from the fact that many of the compounds have a sweet scent. The configuration of six carbon atoms in aromatic compounds is known as a benzene ring, after the simplest possible such hydrocarbon, benzene. Aromatic hydrocarbons can be monocyclic (MAH) or polycyclic (PAH).
  • Follistatin
    • activin-binding protein is a protein that in humans is encoded by the FST gene.
    • Follistatin is being studied for its role in regulation of muscle growth in mice.

Chris Hardwick serves up more than just nerd with his friends and co-hosts Jonah Ray and Matt Mira.  The Nerdist podcast primarily consists of comedy and interviews with awesome people.  First off these aren’t like any other interviews out there.  They’re so sincere, relaxed and hilarious you’d think you were listening to old friends sitting on a couch making new friends with cool people.

The Nerdist podcast is enlightening and funny – Who would have thought I would learn so much useless knowledge from one place.

Chris Hardwick – Known for his stand-up, work on Singled Out and Web Soup, to name a couple, and is currently the host of Talking Dead and Talking Bad as well as the voice of Craig on Sanjay and Craig.  Who doesn’t Chris know?  Seriously it’s limitless.  I can’t say I know Chris personally but after watching and listening to him for a while I feel like I can make an honest assessment and say he is genuinely a nice guy, he works his tail off and cares about what he puts out.  The guy is friends with Neil Patrick Harris,  what else do you need to know beyond that?

Written by KC Wayland and produced by KC Wayland and Shane Salk, We’re Alive is a story about zombie survival that follows three soldiers and a group of civilian survivors from the initial outbreak and into their daily struggles, fights and all out war.  This isn’t your grandpa’s audio drama or your grandma’s soaps.  This is the best produced audio drama out there today to include it’s well written story line, detailed characters, acting, audio quality and blow your mind sound effects.
